Jeremiah’s Inn
CGLIHC worked with a 30 bed social model rehabilitation program in an 1850s era hotel to bring their heating and cooling systems up to date. Their oil burning system was close to failing, and CGLIHC wrote proposals to the city and other partners, bringing in needed funding to replace the heating system with a blend of insulation, heat pumps, and a high efficiency system. The program also received air filtration units, water conservation tools, and it utilizes off-site solar power, called community based solar, to supply its electricity needs.
LEAN
CGLIHC assisted Jeremiah’s Inn in their new residential program, connecting them with LEAN to replace their heating and lighting systems. This will save them thousands of dollars in utility costs which can be repurposed to serve their clients.

Catholic Charities (MA)
CGLIHC worked with Catholic Charities and assisted in their application to LEAN, which has secured them new LED lighting, weatherization and a brand new efficient heating system. CGLIHC also helped Catholic Charities (Southbridge) secure a new heat pump system through a GAP III application. This new system not only reduces costs but also eliminates carbon emissions which benefits their multi-service program.
