Advocacy and Education

With postcard parties, outreach, testimonies, and press conferences/editorials, our steering committee of low-income advocates and allies is working to increase access and utilization of clean energy options for housing developments and transportation. Recent work has included serving on the Governor’s Affordable Access to Clean and Efficient Energy Initiative Steering Committee, the Global Warming Solutions Act Advisory Implementation Committee, and by supporting new measures to increase access to clean energy in gateway cities.

CGLIHC supports a 100% renewable energy future.

We partner with Environment Massachusetts and other advocacy organizations to endorse a 100% Renewable Energy Future. CGLIHC hosted the first 100% renewable energy conference in the Commonwealth, with legislators, advocates, architects, and housing policy organizations to highlight our work, the systems we have installed, and our support for 100% renewable energy.

CGLIHC advocates and allies push for more solar energy statewide.
